This brute de forge chef knife has a nearly 10” 80CrV2 carbon steel blade that is 2.25" tall at the heel. The handle, starting from back to front, is made from stabilized maple burl with a nickle silver pin. There is then a thin nickle spacer before the filled, roped, carbon steel spacer. The bolster is made from forged wrought iron that has been etched and blackened.
